These Were The Thoughts Fluttering Through Casca's Mind, As He Sweeped Through The City,The Time Being 2:30 AM!
Tiny Dots Of Light Were Scattered Here And There, And Once Or Twice A Vehicle Would Pass By, Lighting His Path..Except For This,It Was Eternal Darkness Around Him.... Casca Continued Walking ,Not Knowing Where He Was Headed!
What Made " The Night Time" So Special To Casca Was That The Darkness Would Always Cloak Him, Hide Him From The Rest!
It Was Like A Shield For Him, No One Could See Him Weep, No one Could See His Weak Form In The Night!
He Continued Walking, For What Seemed Like A Lifetime... Eventually, Something Soft Began To Gush Against His Feet,
It Was Grass, Lush Green Grass.. The Whole Area Of Land Was Filled With Nothing Else But Grass...
Casca Made Up His Mind And Finally Sat Down And Stretched Himself Onto The Field, He Lay On His Back And Looked Up At The Dark Sky With Its Stars And The Moon.. It Was All Too Beautiful!
And Then Memories Gathered Around Before Him, The Friends He Had Lost, The Girl He Had Loved , The Family That Had Turned Around On Him,
The Sister Who Had Loved Him Till Her Last Breath ..The Lost Battles, The Lost Life!
He Was A Coward Now, A Low Lying Thief Afraid To Step Into Broad Daylight...
Slowly Light Began Filling Up , It Was The Crack Of Dawn, It Was Time For The Coward To Move.. But Then Something Caught His Attention, It Was Light Yet Again, But A Far More Brighter One, Soaring Through The Sky, Headed Right To The Place Where He Was Lying!
Something Made Casca Stay There, The Unknown Rooted Him To His Spot, And He Watched As The Fireball Lurched Its Way Towards Him..
As It Came Closer, It Was No Longer A Fireball, It Was Drifting Shape... Ultimately, The Light Dropped Onto A Spot A Few Yards From Him.. Casca Jumped To His Feet And Made His Way To Where It Had Fallen!
When Casca Reached The Spot, He Was Shocked To Every Core Of His Body For What Lay There Was A Human, A YGirl Who Looked Slightly Younger Than Casca, It Was Asleep!
Finally Gaining Sense, Casca Went Over To Her And Woke Her Up...
"Who Are You" Casca Asked As The Girl Opened Her Eyes And Sat Up.. The Girl Didn't Answer, She Just Looked Up At Him And Stared ..
After Almost An Hour Of Staring, She Spoke, "Don't You Remember Me ?" .. That Was All She Said!
Suddenly Light Began To Fill The Place Up At A Faster Rate, The Sun Was Rising, And As It Did, The Rays Caressed The Girls Face, Making Her Visible To Casca!
"No.. It Can't Be! " Casca Gasped As He Stepped Backwards Trying To Hide From The Light That Terrorized Him!...
"I Will Be Back When You Shall Need Me Most" The Girl Said, In Rather A Mystical Voice.. " And Here I Am "
It All Came Back To Casca, Those Words Were What His Sister Had Told Him Before Breathing Her Last Breath.. He Then Remembered The Prayer He Had Made Last Night!
"Oh Lord, Give Me Back Teresa, For I Need Her Now " .. That Was What He Had Pleaded!
The God's Had Finally Answered His Prayers!
Teresa Stood Up And Walked Towards Casca, They Looked At Each Other And Then Teresa Pulled Casca Over Into The Sunlight...They Hugged, The Warmth Spreading From Teresa To Casca!
Suddenly , The Sunlight That Beat Down On Casca No Longer Terrorized Him,
He Was Not Afraid To Face Daylight Anymore ,
He Was No Longer Weak, He Did Not Need The Cloak Of Darkness!
Casca Had Gained A Shoulder Which Always Support Him,
A Heart Which Would Always Love Him As A Brother...
He Had Gained His Reason For Existence,
Casca Had Gained Love,
And The Love Of A Sister Was One Of The Purest After All
